finishing and starting

Hey, I also wanted to make a Pucker. I loved the pattern when I saw it, and I bought the pattern book. But the LYS I was in didn't have the specific yarn suggested, so I bought something else. But it is a different texture and colour, and I realized what I liked about the Pucker was really the yarn/detail combo that makes the fabric almost look like seaweed (Nora G. really is a genius, and I promise not to mess with her again). Anyway, an inch of stockinette in, and I haven't picked it up again. How that I'm 4.5 months pregnant, and the top won't fit this year anyway, the yarn will go to something else. But I wish I had just ordered the suggested yarn to begin with. I hope you get farther than I did!!
I think the yarn I have isn't going to be enough and I'm wishing it had more shine. I'm thinking of going to the yarn store and seeing if I can find something with more shine to use, like maybe a bamboo blend. I am starting to wonder if I should just suck it up and order the Seduce. It's a pricey yarn, though.
